About this tender
Overview Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for appointment as a pre-qualified supplier of civil construction works for roads and drainage throughout the Shire, as described in more detail in Part 5, Scope and Technical Specifications. Scope The scope includes: Civil construction works for roads and drainage throughout the Shire Delivery of maintenance, repair, and related trade services across Council facilities and infrastructure within the Banana Shire local government area Contract Terms and Conditions Successful tenderers will be awarded pre-qualified supplier status for an initial term ending 30 June 2028 Council reserves the option to extend the arrangement for a further twelve (12) months at its discretion The Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (ROPS) will be reviewed and updated annually at the commencement of each financial year Instructions to Tenderers New contractors and suppliers are encouraged to apply for inclusion on the panel by submitting the required tender documentation during the annual review process. Existing pre-qualified suppliers may also submit updated schedules of rates and pricing, including adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or other approved cost increases, for Council's consideration as part of the annual panel review.
