The purpose of this invitation to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) is to: (1) invite organisations (Registrants) to register their interest in relation to the delivery of the GCLR - Gold Coast University Hospital to Biggera Waters (Harbour Town) (the Project); and (2) identify Registrants with the requisite experience and capability which GoldlinQ may invite to proceed to the Expression of Interest (EOI) phase for the Project. This ROI and the subsequent procurement activities will focus on the Design and Construction Works (D&C Works). Background Information: On 22 June 2026, the Queensland Government announced the extension of the Gold Coast Light Rail (GCLR) to connect Harbour Town at Biggera Waters with Gold Coast University Hospital on the northern Gold Coast, and will be delivered as part of the Gold Coast Transport Plan. The light rail extension will enhance public transport across the Gold Coast, reduce congestion generally and provide a public transport solution to support the northern Gold Coast’s growing population and during the busy 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Contact: Any contact regarding this document or the ROI must be directed, in writing, to the contact officer detailed below: Name: Gold Coast Light Rail Transaction Team Email: GCLRTransaction@goldlinq.com.au Registrants are prohibited from directly contacting any other officer or representative of GoldlinQ or the State to discuss any aspect of the Project or this ROI, unless approved in writing by GoldlinQ. Any questions submitted via the etender platform will not be answered.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
