Overview Richmond Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the management and operation of the Council's Refuse Tip facility. Scope The scope includes: Opening and closing the facility during designated operating hours Providing onsite supervision during all opening hours Managing waste disposal activities in accordance with Council requirements Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace Reporting incidents and hazards in accordance with Council procedures Arranging approved relief operators during periods of leave Recovering and managing approved recyclable materials in accordance with the contract conditions Contractor Requirements Operate as an independent contractor and supply own insurances, equipment, and SWMS personnel necessary to fulfil the contract Ensure all required insurances, registrations, and statutory obligations are maintained Relevant experience in waste facility operations, resource recovery, workplace health and safety, and customer service is encouraged, particularly from local contractors and businesses Instructions to Tenderers Full details, including contract specifications, operating requirements, and evaluation criteria, are available in the tender documentation.
