Overview Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a contractor to supply and install certified impact-attenuating rubber softfall surfacing at existing playgrounds at the Emerald Regional Botanic Gardens and Rotary Park, Blackwater. Scope The scope includes: Supply and installation of certified impact-attenuating rubber softfall surfacing in the form of a modular individual tile system at existing playgrounds Installation of approximately 300m2 of softfall surfacing at the Emerald Regional Botanic Gardens Installation of approximately 400m2 of softfall surfacing at Rotary Park, Blackwater Finishing the motif as a like for like pattern using the existing colour palette Constructing a uniform surface free from trip hazards, built to the required levels and drainage requirements Provision of all labour, plant, equipment, materials, testing, certification and associated works necessary to deliver a fully compliant and completed installation Supply of temporary construction fencing to fully isolate the project area from public access Contractor Requirements The installed softfall system must be certified to comply with the relevant Australian Standards for impact attenuation and playground safety, including the required Critical Fall Height for the playground equipment
