SEC-002-Screening Equipment - Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032

This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the provision of screening equipment and systems to support the safe, secure and efficient operation of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Effective and efficient screening capabilities will be critical to ensuring the safety of all Games stakeholders and assets across a diverse range of venues and precincts, through the detection and control of prohibited and restricted items. Brisbane 2032 anticipates requirements across approximately 40 to 50 competition and key non-competition venues, including central (and regional) logistics hubs and remote screening sites, with tailored solutions for pedestrian, vehicle, and material screening. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and removal of screening equipment, including: Pedestrian screening capabilities, such as walk-through detectors and baggage scanners at pedestrian screening areas. Under-vehicle scanning systems, vehicle scanning units, and inspection booths for vehicle screening areas. Screening solutions for Material Transfer Areas (MTAs), including pallet and cargo scanners. Equipment and systems for Remote Material Screening Sites, including mobile or relocatable screening units. Integration with access control, CCTV, and communications systems, ensuring seamless operation within broader security and venue management frameworks. Provision of operator training, technical support, and equipment certification, including calibration and compliance with relevant standards. Compliance with Australian Standards, international security screening guidelines, and Games-specific technical specifications, including WHS regulations, accessibility requirements, and data protection protocols. Coordination with venue operators, logistics teams, and security agencies to ensure timely deployment, operational readiness, and effective threat mitigation. Post-Games decommissioning and removal, with consideration for reuse, redeployment, or legacy integration where appropriate. Respondents should demonstrate experience in delivering reliable, effective and efficient screening solutions for large-scale, multi-site events or critical infrastructure programs, with the capacity to respond flexibly to evolving threat environments, operational requirements, and site-specific constraints.
