SPT-001-Sport Equipment - Partner - Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032

This package seeks to identify experienced sport equipment suppliers to support the delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Sport equipment is considered any apparatus or tool used by athletes during Olympic and Paralympic Games competition, training or test events. Examples of sport equipment include competition, warm-up and training equipment, field of play flooring and technical support equipment (e.g. scales). This does not include athletes’ personal equipment and clothes, timing and scoring equipment or in-venue communication equipment. The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games procured over two million items of sport equipment across 4,000 product types. As the final Brisbane 2032 Sport Programme is yet to be confirmed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the exact list of sports and disciplines for which equipment will be procured remains to be confirmed. At this stage, suppliers should anticipate requirements aligned with the Olympic and Paralympic sports outlined in the Brisbane 2032 Future Host Questionnaire Response. For Olympic sports, this includes Archery, Athletics, Aquatics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Canoe, Cycling, Equestrian, Fencing, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Rugby Sevens, Sailing, Shooting, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Triathlon, Volleyball, Weightlifting, and Wrestling. For Paralympic sports, this includes Para Archery, Para Athletics, Para Badminton, Boccia, Para Canoe, Para Cycling, Para Equestrian, Blind Football, Goalball, Para Judo, Para Powerlifting, Para Rowing, Shooting Para Sport, Sitting Volleyball, Para Swimming, Para Table Tennis, Para Taekwondo, Para Triathlon, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Tennis. The respective International Federations (IFs) will propose to Brisbane 2032 approved equipment suppliers for key products, however, there will be opportunities for alternate suppliers to support the Games across various sport-related areas. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: • Supply, delivery, installation, and removal of sport-specific equipment required for competition and training venues Examples include track and field equipment, aquatic timing and field-of-play systems, gymnastics apparatus, team sport goals, balls and flags, weightlifting platforms and chalk stands, and shooting/archery paper targets and mats. All equipment must meet international standards recognised by the relevant IFs for each sport.
