About this tender

Overview The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (QLD) is seeking a supplier to produce a Statewide Waste and Recycling Infrastructure Roadmap and a supporting Investment Prospectus, working in collaboration with the Department. About The Queensland government's Less Landfill, More Recycling 2035: Queensland Waste Strategy identifies investing in modern infrastructure as a priority. The new Waste Strategy is backed by investment of $487 million over five years through the Waste Reduction and Recycling Activation Fund. Investment in infrastructure requires not just State government investment, but local, federal and private sector investment as well. Purpose A key action of the Waste Strategy is to develop a statewide waste and recycling infrastructure plan that identifies current and future material flows, infrastructure capacity and gaps, facility locations, supply chain options, land use planning considerations and priority investment opportunities. Objectives Together, the Roadmap and Investment Prospectus will provide a contemporary, evidence-based framework to guide decision-making on priority waste streams, recycling and resource recovery infrastructure to 2035 and beyond, and help identify key infrastructure needs and costed pathways to progress towards the targets in the Waste Strategy. Scope The scope includes: Production of a Statewide Waste and Recycling Infrastructure Roadmap Production of a supporting Investment Prospectus Delivery of both outputs in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal
