Overview Bulloo Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of two turkey nest style water storage dams at two separate locations in the south western region of Bulloo Shire, Queensland. Purpose The dams are intended to support Council road construction and maintenance activities. Scope The scope includes: Construction of two turkey nest style water storage dams at two separate locations in the south western region of Bulloo Shire, Queensland, as specified in Volume 3 Scope and Specification Pricing of all three dam lining options described in Volume 3 and Schedule K1, to enable Council to compare whole-of-work costs for each option Dam Specifications Plan surface area at Full Supply Level (FSL) of approximately 10,000m² per dam Total holding capacity of approximately 50ML (50,000m³) per dam Maximum operating water depth of 8.0 m, subject to final design, Drawings and set-out Combined storage capacity of both completed dams of approximately 100 ML Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in the construction of water storage dams
