About this tender

This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the provision of rental Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to support the delivery and operation of Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues. UPS systems will be critical to ensuring continuity of operations for essential services including Field of Play lighting, broadcast, technology (data networks and timing, scoring and results) and security across Games competition and non-competition sites. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and removal of UPS infrastructure, including: Containerised three phase UPS units of varying capacities Single phase modular UPS units of varying capacities Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) of varying capacities Isolation transformers and Power conditioning, surge protection equipment Monitoring systems for real-time performance and fault detection Integration with venue power systems and overlay designs, including coordination with temporary and permanent power providers. Compliance with relevant Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC), and Games-specific technical specifications, with relevant building, safety, and accessibility standards, including WHS regulations, DDA requirements, and temporary structure codes. Compliance with relevant electrical, safety, environmental standards and energy efficiency guidelines. Operational support services, including: System testing and certification prior to Games-time operations Preventative maintenance and fault response during pre-Games and Games-time phases Coordination with technology and broadcast teams to ensure uninterrupted service. Decommissioning and site restoration post-Games, with consideration for equipment reuse, sustainability, and emissions reduction. Respondents should demonstrate experience in delivering UPS solutions for large-scale, multi-site events or infrastructure programs, with proven capability in logistics, compliance, and stakeholder coordination
