About this tender
Overview The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) South Australia, part of the Department for Environment and Water (SA), is inviting suitably qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply, implementation, and ongoing support of a modern data platform (data lakehouse) with advanced analytics capability. About EPA SA holds more than 150 data assets across 13+ source systems, including regulatory licensing, environmental monitoring, incident management, waste management, and corporate finance platforms. Data management is currently fragmented across multiple siloed sources such as network shares, SaaS applications, spreadsheets, and SharePoint, which creates duplication, inconsistency, and limited analytical capability. Scope The scope includes: Supply, implementation, and ongoing support of an enterprise-grade data lakehouse platform Consolidation of EPA SA's fragmented data landscape across its data assets and source systems Establishment of trusted data quality and governance foundations Enablement of cross-domain analytics and intelligence functions to support regulatory and environmental compliance Operation within South Australian Government information security and whole-of-government integration standards Tender Briefing An industry briefing will be provided via MS Teams, with the schedule to be advised.
