About this tender
Overview BHP Olympic Dam Corporation Pty Ltd (SA) is inviting registrations of interest for the provision of bulk earthworks services to support the Copper SA Smelter & Refinery Expansion (SRE) Project and associated infrastructure development works. Scope At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the scope will include the following. This may include: Identification, excavation, transport and disposal of contaminated materials Bulk cut-to-fill earthworks, excavation, embankment construction and compaction activities Ground improvement, subgrade preparation and soil stabilisation works Haulage operations associated with the movement, importation and disposal of earthworks materials Temporary drainage, dewatering, erosion and sediment control measures Survey, set-out, conformance testing, quality control and as-built documentation While the initial package focus is bulk earthworks, respondents should note that the scope is expected to develop into a larger civil works package as design maturity increases. Future works may include road construction, drainage infrastructure, underground services installation, utility corridors, pavement construction and associated civil infrastructure works.
