Overview The Regional Council of Goyder is seeking a contractor to undertake tree removal and stump grinding at Burra Cemetery, Challoner Terrace, Burra. Scope The scope includes: Removal and stump grinding of trees at Burra Cemetery, Challoner Terrace, Burra Provision of all associated materials and labour required to complete the specified works Removal and disposal of the trees, which are declared weeds, in accordance with the required legal method Taking special care of the heritage wall and headstones located on the graves Protecting all above and below ground assets from damage caused by the force of impact from falling objects during tree dismantling works Managing work areas so that no debris is left onsite overnight, and leaving the site in a safe and tidy condition with complete functionality at the conclusion of the works Working around restricted site access due to the proximity of headstones to the trees and the trees to the heritage walls Works are to be undertaken Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Due to the declared weed status of the required trees, the council will identify the disposal location at a later date. A copy of the Tree Risk Assessment and Management Report, including images of site access constraints, is attached with the tender.
