Scope The scope includes: Defining a Digital Engineering strategy, including the target state, priorities and implementation roadmap for Digital Engineering across the engineering lifecycle Providing advisory services on best practices for establishing modern Digital Engineering practices, linking authoritative models, engineering data, configurations and evidence through a coherent Digital Engineering Thread Maturing systems engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, including requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification and validation Assessing engineering toolchain processes, information flows, models, repositories and tools, and identifying traceability gaps, interoperability constraints and priority integration opportunities Providing guidance on best practices for applying AI and automation to the Digital Engineering workflow Developing reusable methods, reference models, templates, playbooks, coaching and handover arrangements to build internal Digital Engineering capability and reduce supplier dependency Providing independent technical assurance, prioritised use cases, bounded pilots, implementation planning and measurable engineering outcomes
