Overview The City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE) is seeking proposals for the ongoing court flooring maintenance of its two Community and Sports Centres: The Lights Community and Sports Centre (5 courts) and Lefevre Community and Sports Centre (2 courts). This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides information in general terms, allowing flexibility in how respondents demonstrate the approach to be undertaken to facilitate and deliver value for the Council and the community. This RFP is not an undertaking or contractual offer by the Council to receive the services set out herein. About The City of Port Adelaide Enfield operates The Lights Community and Sports Centre and Lefevre Community and Sports Centre, both of which contain timber indoor sports flooring requiring specialist maintenance to ensure ongoing safety, compliance, performance and asset longevity. Purpose Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to provide ongoing scheduled and reactive sports floor maintenance services across both facilities. The maintenance program is intended to preserve court performance, protect Council's investment in the facilities and minimise disruption to community users. Scope The scope includes: Annual screen/sand and recoat works Inspections of sports flooring Slip resistance testing Line marking Repairs and lifecycle maintenance activities Assessment of the condition of both sports floors Provision of recommendations regarding future long-term maintenance requirements, including full sand and refinish works Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified contractor with specialist expertise in timber indoor sports flooring maintenance
