Design & Construct Bridge Replacement #148 / Walkway - Inglis River Walking Track

Overview Waratah-Wynyard Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced civil construction contractors or similar organisations for the design and construction of a replacement bridge/walkway structure on the Inglis River Walking Track, currently identified as Bridge No. 148. Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to: Provision of all design services, materials, plant, labour, equipment and other resources necessary for complete delivery of the project Demolition and removal of the existing bridge/walkway structure Design and construction of the new bridge/walkway structure, including associated abutments, piers, handrails and approaches Any ancillary works required to provide a complete, safe and functional structure Removal and lawful disposal of all demolition waste, surplus materials and construction debris generated by the works Leaving the site clean and appropriately reinstated upon completion Contractor Requirements Suitably experienced civil construction contractor or similar organisation Instructions to Tenderers Tender documents must be obtained after registration. Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum. Completed responses must be submitted via the Electronic Tender Box, and respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries regarding the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
