Monitoring and evaluation framework – Tasmania’s 20-year preventive health strategy

Overview The Department of Health (TAS) intends to procure specialist monitoring and evaluation services to develop a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework for The Health Revolution – Our Pathway for Living Well in Tasmania 2026–2046, Tasmania's 20-year preventive health strategy. Purpose The framework will connect individual Strategy actions and investments to short, medium and long-term outcomes, with relevant Tasmanian Wellbeing Framework indicators and key population health and health-system outcomes used as headline measures. It will identify appropriate indicators, baselines, data sources and methods to progressively strengthen assessment of the Strategy's contribution to changes in health, wellbeing and health-system outcomes over time. The framework will support consistent evaluation of individual Action Plan initiatives and inform future implementation and investment decisions.
