About this tender
Overview Tasmanian Networks Pty Ltd (TasNetworks) is seeking submissions for the provision of Aerial Inspection Services for Transmission Infrastructure. Further details are provided in the attached RFT document pack, which should be reviewed in full starting with the RFT Overview Document. Scope TasNetworks uses aerial technology to facilitate an aerial transmission overhead inspection program, which identifies defects that may not be visible from ground-based inspection. These inspections are used to identify defects and provide asset condition information to drive maintenance and replacement of TasNetworks assets. The scope includes: Routine aerial vegetation inspections Routine aerial methodical inspection and image capture Routine substation imagery capture Unplanned thermal inspections Unplanned fault patrols Unplanned structure inspections, including imagery Defect analysis of asset images captured Instructions to Tenderers Details to register for a supplier briefing are contained within the RFT Document Pack. Submissions must address all requirements listed in the RFT Response Schedule and Technical Standards, which are included in the document pack, along with any other supporting documentation. Responses are requested in Excel, Word and Portable Document Format (PDF) and must be lodged in the Tenderlink electronic tender box set up for this RFT by the closing time of 2:00pm AEDT Thursday 15th October 2026. All documents must be combined into one (1) WinZip file before uploading the submission to Tenderlink. Sufficient time should be allowed for uploading responses. An online forum has been set up on the Tenderlink site for all questions to and replies from TasNetworks. Questions must be posted solely via this forum. The forum closes five (5) days prior to the RFT closing time. No direct contact is to be made with any TasNetworks Representative during this Tender process.
