Rosny and Richmond Tennis Courts - Resurface

Overview Clarence City Council is inviting tenders to undertake resurfacing works at the Rosny and Richmond Tennis Courts sites. About The Rosny Tennis Courts 1 and 2 were installed over 30 years ago with synthetic grass laid over an asphalt surface. The grass surface has reached end of life and is in poor condition. Council is also progressing a separate tender to repair the retaining wall adjacent to the courts and install new "like for like" perimeter fencing around Courts 1 and 2. These works are planned to be completed prior to any resurfacing works commencing. The Richmond Tennis Courts were installed over 30 years ago and the existing synthetic surface is in poor condition due to its age. Additionally, stormwater pools at the southern corner of the court. Council is undertaking works external to the court to improve the stormwater drainage, however the court requires a dish drain to be installed to better direct flow to the Council drain. The existing chain link fence and lighting will remain undisturbed during the works. Scope The scope includes: Rosny Tennis Club, Courts 1 & 2, 18 Bastick Street, Rosny Supply of all materials and consumables for the resurfacing of Courts 1 and 2 Supply of portable toilet and amenities for the duration of the works Installation of new sand filled synthetic grass surface Removal and appropriate disposal of all waste materials, including the old court surface Richmond Tennis Club, Courts 1 & 2, 2 Victoria Street, Richmond Supply of all materials and consumables for the guttering and resurfacing Supply of portable toilet and amenities for the duration of the works Removal of the existing Courts 1 and 2 synthetic grass surface Installation of guttering as per sketch and LGAT drawing Installation of new sand filled synthetic grass surface Removal and appropriate disposal of all waste materials, including the court surface Contract Terms and Conditions All site works must be completed prior to 31 December 2026 Full details of the works are provided in Schedule 1 of the specimen copy of the Contract appearing in Part 4 of the Invitation Site Inspection Pre-Tender site meetings are scheduled for clarification of the works. Attendance is not mandatory; however, this will be the only opportunity to physically explore the sites with the Superintendent in attendance.
