This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) is seeking a Technical Lead to work within the Data & Digital Delivery Enablement Program. About The Data & Digital Group provides information, computing, and communications solutions to enable the Bureau to deliver the highest quality of observations, weather, climate, ocean, and hydrological products and services to Australia. The Delivery Enablement Program provides project delivery services for the project portfolio, and this role will be key to delivering projects and programs undertaken through the Delivery Enablement Program. The Bureau is undertaking initiatives involving the implementation, enhancement and optimisation of various applications (including bespoke and COTS) and infrastructure to support business operations and strategic objectives. The Role The Technical Lead will support the successful delivery of business and technology change initiatives by providing technical direction and oversight and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and project objectives for initiatives that support critical enterprise capabilities. The Technical Lead will work closely with the Project Manager, and alongside business, technical and delivery professionals, to achieve agreed outcomes and benefits. Role Requirements Proven ability to work in a team environment, build positive relationships, and be flexible and innovative Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure Advanced verbal and written communication skills Confidence working with different stakeholders, including project managers, delivery teams, vendors and senior managers A previous background working on relevant projects, and previous experience with Federal Government and Bureau of Meteorology technology and processes, would be highly advantageous
