Overview The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is seeking a main works contractor for the Ambulance Victoria Melton Exford Project, involving the delivery of a new Ambulance Victoria station at Melton South. About The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) operates within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) under the project office VIDA Health. VHBA's work includes planning and building new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also administers the replacement and upgrade of engineering infrastructure and medical equipment, alongside the asset management of existing health facilities. This program will upgrade and rebuild ambulance branches to provide better working conditions for paramedics and ensure lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of a new four bay, four bed Ambulance Victoria station at Melton South Works on a predominately greenfield site with a well defined scope, limited interfaces and no significant technical or operational complexities Eligibility Respondents must be registered as a prequalified contractor on the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) CSR under the category: New Commercial Construction Experience delivering similar projects to the value of at least $6,000,000 Previous Government contracting experience
