Overview Southern Rural Water is intending to release a Tender for Blue Rock Tower Roof Construction Works. About Southern Rural Water is a state-owned rural water corporation. More than 86% of the water it provides is used for agricultural purposes, with over 90% of its customers being farmers. Its services support a food and fibre sector that contributes more than $14.2 billion to the economy each year. Southern Rural Water also supplies water to power generators and urban water corporations while working with the Victorian Environmental Water Holder, catchment management authorities and Melbourne Water to manage the release of environmental flows. Southern Rural Water services an area of 88,000 square kilometres, stretching from the South Australian border to the New South Wales border and from the Great Dividing Range to the Victorian coastline. Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to: Mobilisation and site preparation for works Removal of existing roof structure Recoating and respraying the primary structure Allowance to recoat and respray rafters and purlins, with the contractor to complete an assessment of all rafters and purlins after roof removal to confirm this scope of works and replace if required Replacement of roof structure Rehabilitation or replacement of all bolts and screws with galvanised bolts and screws Demobilisation Instructions to Tenderers Tender release: The Tender is intended for release October 2026 Procurement Model: Open Single Stage Tender Applicable Policies Supplier Code of Conduct Ministerial Direction Public Construction Occupational Health and Safety Ministerial Direction Public Construction Industrial Relations Fair Jobs Code Southern Rural Water, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to amend the information provided above, postpone, or cancel this procurement activity.
