Strathbogie Shire Council invites Expressions of Interest’s (EOI’s) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the demolition and removal of the Chinaman’s Bridge, located on the Nagambie-Heathcote Road, Nagambie, Victoria. This EOI seeks to identify capable contractors, innovative demolition methodologies, and cost-effective approaches following initial market pricing that significantly exceeded available budgets. Respondents are invited to propose safe, heritage-compliant, and environmentally responsible methods for delivering the project. Participation in this EOI does not constitute a tender. Council may use the information provided to establish a shortlist for a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) or engage directly with selected proponents. EOI’s will be received until 4PM, MONDAY 1st December 2025. EOIs can be only lodged online through the eTender search portal. Please note Strathbogie Shire Council no longer accepts hardcopy EOI’s and will not accept EOI’s by fax or email. It is Strathbogie Shire Council's policy not to accept EOI’s received after the specified closing time. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS: Contract 25-26-33 - Chinamans Bridge Demolition All EOI Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be accepted. You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab. Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.
