Overview North East Water (NEW) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Tender for the supply, delivery, commissioning and training of a Combination Vacuum, Jetting and Hydro Excavation Vehicle. Purpose The vehicle is being procured to establish an in-house vacuum truck capability to support wastewater, water and civil maintenance operations across NEW's service area. Scope The scope includes: Supply, delivery, commissioning and training for a fully operational Combination Vacuum, Jetting and Hydro Excavation Vehicle Provision of a vehicle solution capable of supporting municipal sewer cleaning, pump station cleaning, hydro excavation, emergency response and associated maintenance activities Sewer network cleaning Sewer blockage response Emergency sewer overflow response Pump station cleaning Wet well cleaning Treatment plant cleaning and desludging Hydro excavation and non-destructive digging Water and sewer asset exposure Environmental incident response Civil construction and maintenance support Emergency operational support activities The vehicle must be supplied fully assembled, registered and ready for operational use in Victoria.
