About this tender
Overview SMEC, in conjunction with Greater Western Water, invites suitably accredited contractors to tender for the construction of the Deer Park Estate Outfall Sewer. Scope The scope includes: Construction of approximately 90 metres of OD376 GRP Jacking Pipe Sewer Construction of approximately 125 metres of OD324 GRP Sewer Construction of approximately 915 metres of OD272 GRP Sewer Construction of approximately 30 metres of DN225 PVC sewer Contractor Requirements Contractors must be accredited with Greater Western Water for the supply of works and services in Category SC1 (Reticulation Sewer equal to or greater than DN280 and equal to or greater than 5m in depth) Contractors must be accredited with Greater Western Water in Category SC2 (Main/Branch sewers greater than DN 280) Contractors must be accredited with Greater Western Water in Category SC7 (Any Live Sewer Works) If not accredited to Category SC2 or under probation in Category SC2, an accreditation dispensation will not be considered for this project The tenderer must hold the relevant accreditation category(ies) and provide the relevant Key Personnel The tenderer is not able to subcontract the accreditation or supervision by the Key Personnel Subcontractors can be used for labour and plant and/or specialist services, such as boring, directional drilling, testing, and live tappings Tenderers must demonstrate their commitment to safety in their tender Instructions to Tenderers Late tenders will not be considered.
