About this tender
Overview Wyndham City Council invites tender submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the civil construction of two new Active Open Space developments located at District Avenue Reserve, Werribee, and Hermosa Drive Reserve, Tarneit. The successful contractor(s) will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality civil, sporting and associated infrastructure works, including earthworks, sports field construction, car parking, sports lighting, landscaping and supporting services. These projects form part of Council's ongoing investment in community recreation infrastructure to support the rapidly growing Wyndham municipality. Tenderers may submit a tender for one or both sites. Council reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to award either site individually or both sites to a single contractor. Scope Site 1: District Avenue Reserve, 1 District Avenue, Werribee The scope includes: Construction of one natural turf AFL/Cricket oval, including supporting infrastructure such as fencing, player benches and associated facilities Sports ground lighting Construction of a car park, and solar lighting Shared paths, tree planting and landscape works Construction of two tennis courts Construction of four cricket practice nets Provision of building services for the future change room facility, this building to be constructed by others Site 2: Hermosa Drive Reserve, 81 Hermosa Drive, Tarneit The scope includes: Construction of two natural turf rugby fields with cricket overlay, including supporting infrastructure such as fencing, player benches and associated facilities Sports ground lighting Construction of a car park, and solar lighting Shared paths, tree planting and landscape works Construction of four cricket practice nets Construction of an Informal Sports Hub comprising multi-use courts Provision of building services for the future pavilion footprint, to be constructed by others Instructions to Tenderers The tender package is available for download via Tender Link, and registration on the portal is required. There is no cost to register. All Requests for Information (RFIs) relating to the works and services should be directed through the Message Forum established for this tender. All submissions must be electronically submitted via Tender Link. Late or emailed tenders will not be accepted. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
