Overview Merri-bek City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from local community groups and organisations with expertise and the capability to plan, deliver and manage a Community Ramadan Event Program in Fawkner in 2027. Purpose The event aims to promote belonging, cross-cultural understanding, and positive interaction between different communities. Scope The scope includes: Planning, delivering and managing a Community Ramadan Event Program in Fawkner during Ramadan 2027 Council has not set fixed dates, locations or event formats and is seeking proposals that reflect local ideas, aspirations and community needs. The proposed event must be delivered in Fawkner during Ramadan 2027. Eligibility Submissions are encouraged from community groups, not-for-profit and cultural organisations, local businesses and community networks capable of planning and delivering a community event program. How to Apply Organisations are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by the closing date of 9 September 2026 to be considered for this opportunity.
