About this tender
Overview North Central Catchment Management Authority (North Central CMA) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified agencies, organisations or individuals (Contractors) to deliver environmental water to two wetlands in Guttrum Forest, Reed Bed Swamp and Little Reed Bed Swamp, via temporary diesel pumping. Objectives The environmental objectives for the delivery are to: Wet the fringing large old river red gums to support their growth and drown river red gum seedlings within the wetland bed to maintain open-water habitat Promote the growth and re-establishment of aquatic vegetation and tall marsh vegetation at various depths across the wetland Maintain sufficient wetland depth to provide reliable feeding and breeding habitat for water-dependent biota including frogs, turtles and waterbirds Scope The scope includes: Delivery of environmental water to Reed Bed Swamp and Little Reed Bed Swamp in Guttrum Forest via temporary diesel pumping Instructions to Tenderers The question period relevant to this brief will commence on 30 July 2026 and end on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
