About this tender
Overview City of Kingston invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of Playground Hand Weeding Services. Purpose Council is committed to maintaining safe, functional and weed-free playgrounds for the benefit and enjoyment of the community and is seeking a contractor capable of delivering a high-quality, reliable and responsive service. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of fortnightly hand weeding services across approximately 115 playground locations throughout the municipality Manual removal of weeds from softfall mulch and sandpit areas Associated raking and surface reinstatement Waste removal Reporting of playground defects or damage The use of herbicides is prohibited under this Contract. Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in the provision of playground hand weeding services Contract Terms and Conditions Initial contract term of one (1) year One (1) further one-year extension option at Council's discretion Instructions to Tenderers Submissions must be lodged prior to the nominated tender closing date and time Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances All clarification questions must be submitted no later than four (4) days prior to the RFQ closing date All tender-related queries must be submitted via the online forum
