Overview Baw Baw Shire Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to join a panel providing a broad range of civil construction, maintenance, reactive and minor capital works services under a Schedule of Rates contract. Purpose The contract is intended to support the efficient delivery of small to medium-scale projects requiring rapid mobilisation, flexible resourcing and the ability to undertake multiple concurrent work packages. Scope Works will be delivered through individual work orders across multiple locations and may include planned maintenance, emergency response and asset renewal activities. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to: Minor earthworks, excavation and site preparation Road pavement repairs, reconstruction and stabilisation Asphalt surfacing, spray sealing and surface rehabilitation Unsealed road maintenance and dust suppression Concrete works, including kerb and channel, footpaths, shared paths, vehicle crossings and accessibility upgrades Drainage construction, renewal, maintenance and CCTV inspections Retaining walls, minor structures and bridge maintenance Road furniture installation and maintenance, including guardrails, signs, guideposts and bollards Traffic management planning, implementation and traffic control services Vegetation management, arboricultural services and roadside maintenance Asset protection, reinstatement and rectification works Contractor Requirements Demonstrated capability to manage and coordinate a diverse range of work types, including specialist subcontractors where required Maintenance of high standards of safety, quality, environmental management and customer service Responsibility for providing all labour, plant, materials, supervision, permits, testing and associated resources necessary to deliver the works in accordance with Council's specifications and contractual requirements
