About this tender
Overview The City of Ballarat is seeking submissions from suitably experienced and resourced contractors for the provision of pit cleaning, sub-surface storm water drain clearing and pipe CCTV survey. Purpose Council wishes to establish a formally recognised and approved list of approved suppliers/contractors for the above-mentioned services at pre-negotiated rates. Provision of works may not necessarily be limited to a single supplier for any activity(s), with no guarantee of minimum quantities of work given, and all works will be awarded at Council's discretion. Scope The works to be carried out under the specification include, but are not limited to, the following: Environmental management Provision of traffic management and temporary signing Incidental and associated costs Supply of all plant and materials required to complete the works Implementation and maintenance of all traffic and pedestrian management as required to complete the works Disposal of all material at an approved location, with disposal site information provided to the Supervisor Pathways & Drainage prior to commencement Recording of individual pit/pipe data, including amount of waste per pit, blocked/broken pipe, damaged inserts/surrounds and any damage to pits at program completion Supply of photographs, including before, during and after works have been completed Where access to private property is required but the resident is not home, making three attempts and leaving notice cards onsite Provision of specific and meaningful commentary on all orders from start to finish The Pricing Schedule provides a description of the works and/or services to be priced. The general types of materials, plant and equipment listed in the schedule are indicative only and do not limit the range of materials and/or plant hire services a bidder may wish to tender for consideration; additional materials and/or services may be added to the Schedule of Rates as appropriate.
