Registration for future procurement of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) assets maintenance contracts. Background The Victorian Government is the owner of the state’s $56 billion road network. The Head, Transport for Victoria (TfV) provides, coordinates, operates and maintains Victoria’s road network including maintenance and operation of the traffic signals, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and street lighting assets. This Invitation TfV intends to commence procurement of new ITS maintenance contracts during Quarter 3 of 2025 and invites interested and suitably qualified organisations that satisfy the eligibility criteria below to register their interest. Registrations are also welcomed from organisations that may not fully satisfy the general eligibility criteria but can demonstrate compliance with the SCTV category requirements or provide verifiable evidence of espertise in the maintenance of communications network assets including fibre-optic and wireless technologies. Eligibility Requirement It will be a mandatory requirement of any future tender process for Applicants (or their nominated subcontractors) to be qualified under the TfV Prequalification scheme in the following categories. If Applicants do not adequately address each of the mandatory requirements by the tender closing date then TfV may choose to not evaluate their tender submission. Category Description STS1 Traffic Signals Installation (level 1) STCE1 Traffic Control Equipment (level 1) STCE2 Traffic Control Equipment (level 2) SCTV Communications SVDL Vehicle Detection Loops Where two or more Applicants wish to submit a tender under a joint venture or other consortium-type arrangement, they must as a minimum hold all the nominated prequalification categories.
