Overview Pop Architecture (VIC) is seeking tenders for the appointment of a Head Contractor to undertake the staged refurbishment of the Warne House dementia care wing at Eventide Homes, Stawell. Eventide Homes is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Head Contractors for the refurbishment of Warne House, an existing dementia care wing within the Eventide Homes residential aged care facility in Stawell, Victoria. Scope The project involves the staged refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing internal areas to create a more contemporary, domestic and resident-centred environment. The scope includes: New and reconfigured communal living, dining and kitchen areas New visitor entry Relocation of the existing nurses' station New back-of-house staff and administration areas Custom joinery Upgraded finishes Building services modifications External works Associated demolition Temporary works Commissioning Make-good The facility will remain operational during construction. Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced as a Head Contractor Demonstrated experience delivering works within live aged care, health or similarly occupied environments, including appropriate staging, resident protection, access management, noise and dust control, and close coordination with the client and consultant team Relevant experience in aged care or health refurbishment Regional project delivery experience Demonstrated collaboration with Architects and consultant teams, which will form part of the tender evaluation Instructions to Tenderers Tender documentation will be issued through the TenderLink portal.
