About this tender
Overview Goulburn-Murray Water, through its Resilient Water Program delivery arm, is the project owner seeking tenders for the construction of a pipeline and pump station as part of the Ryans Lagoon Complex Environmental Infrastructure Project at Bonegilla, Victoria. About Ryans Lagoon is a wetland complex located downstream of Lake Hume and upstream of the Kiewa River confluence with the Murray River. It is recognised as a high-value wetland system and is listed as a nationally significant wetland in the Directory of Important Wetlands in Australia. Purpose The project is funded by the Commonwealth as part of its Constraints Measures Program (CMP). This program addresses long-standing physical and operational constraints that limit the ability to deliver environmental water at the scale needed to restore floodplain ecosystems. Scope The scope includes: Construction of a pump station, associated pipeline and River Screen at Ryans Lagoon Installation of a variable speed electric pump capable of delivering flows of up to 12ML/day Connection of the pump to mains electricity, including remote operation and monitoring capability Construction of a HDPE delivery pipeline from the pump station to Ryans Lagoon via horizontal direct drilling (HDD), approximately 200m long Construction of a suction line including installation of a River Screen Configuration of assets to support safe, efficient operation and minimise ongoing maintenance requirements Principal-supplied items Pump and Motor HDPE Pipe River Screen Contract Terms and Conditions The works are proposed to be delivered under the VPS Medium Works Contract, December 2025.
