Safety Barriers & Associated Civil Works – Lancefield-Pyalong Road and Kilmore East Road

Overview Mitchell Shire Council requires the services of a suitably experienced civil construction contractor for the construction of road safety improvement works at two locations within the Mitchell Shire, delivered as separable portions. Scope The scope includes: Separable Portion 1, Lancefield-Pyalong Road Safety Improvements (High Camp) Installation of a wire rope safety barrier (WRSB) along the identified section of Lancefield-Pyalong Road, High Camp Pavement widening and sealing works Associated civil infrastructure works Minor drainage works Earthworks Linemarking Installation of raised reflective pavement markers (RRPMs) Installation of audio tactiles All associated works required to complete the treatment Separable Portion 2, Kilmore East Road Safety Improvements (Kilmore) Installation of wire rope safety barriers (WRSB) along the identified curved sections of Kilmore East Road, Kilmore Installation of MASH TL-4 (ram shield) high containment safety barriers, or approved equivalent, including the section adjacent to existing roadside fences Associated pavement widening where required Installation of guideposts Linemarking, including audio tactiles Signage works Associated civil works Contractor Requirements Suitably experienced civil construction contractor
