Overview South West TAFE (SWTAFE) is preparing to release a Request for Tender (RFT) seeking suitably experienced and qualified commercial building contractors (Head Contractor) to carry out refurbishment of a Student Lounge and Toilet block, along with other minor works packages, at SWTAFE's Hamilton Campus. This notice is an Advance Tender Notice (ATN) to inform the market ahead of the RFT release. About The works form part of the SWTAFE Hamilton Campus Refurbishment Project. Once completed, the refurbished areas will be used by students and staff to meet training and amenity needs. Scope The contract will be delivered under a Construct Only methodology. The scope is expected to include: Obtaining all permits and approvals necessary to undertake the works, including the building permit Engagement and management of all required subcontractors to deliver the works Refurbishment of the Student Lounge and Toilet Block, including all services connections Pricing of any Tender Options as defined within the final RFT documentation Completion of the works by February 2027 Eligibility Tenderers must hold prequalification on the Victorian Government Construction Supplier Register to be considered for this project Instructions to Tenderers Indicative key dates for this procurement are: ATN Release Date: 20 August 2026 ATN Close Date: 28 August 2026 RFT Release Date: 1 September 2026 RFT Close Date: 18 October 2026 Contract Award: 22 October 2026 Interested parties should monitor the Buying for Victoria portal for the release of the open RFT and associated documentation, expected in late August or early September 2026. While a response to this notice is not mandatory to take part in the RFT process, SWTAFE kindly requests that interested parties submit their intent to tender for this project via email to Mailbox.Tenders@swtafe.edu.au for planning purposes.
