About this tender
Overview The City of Casey invites suitable tenderers to complete the works for Stage 1 of the Alexander Boulevard Active Open Space development in Clyde North. Purpose This project forms part of Council's ongoing investment in community sporting infrastructure and will deliver a major multi-use sporting precinct to support current and future population growth within the municipality. The procurement is intended to deliver a high-quality, durable, and fit-for-purpose sporting environment that enhances recreation opportunities, supports community participation in sport, and provides long-term benefits for residents of the City of Casey. Scope Stage 1 comprises the construction of key sporting and supporting infrastructure. The scope includes: Construction of two ovals Construction of three embedded soccer fields Practice cricket nets Irrigation and drainage systems Spectator facilities Access roads Car parking Pathways Landscaping and associated civil works Installation of underground services and infrastructure to support future stages of development Provision of all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision, testing, certification, commissioning, and associated services necessary to deliver the works to Practical Completion Stage 1 will establish the foundational infrastructure required for future expansion of the sporting precinct, including tennis facilities, additional car parking, multi-sport courts, and supporting infrastructure to be delivered under separate contract packages.
