About this tender
Overview East Gippsland Water (EGW) will soon release an Invitation to Tender for the Design & Construct of the Wy Yung Clear Water Storage Facility Solar PV, Main Switchboard and Connection Hub Project (1395). About East Gippsland Water is investing in renewable energy infrastructure to support its commitment to achieving net zero electricity emissions while improving the efficiency and resilience of critical water supply assets. The project will deliver a new solar photovoltaic (PV) system and associated electrical infrastructure at the Wy Yung Clear Water Storage Facility, increasing onsite renewable energy generation and providing capacity for future battery energy storage integration. Scope The successful contractor will be required to undertake the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar PV system and associated electrical infrastructure. The scope is expected to include: Design and installation of an approximately 575 kW solar PV system Supply and installation of a new main switchboard and associated electrical infrastructure Integration and connection to existing site electrical infrastructure Provision for future battery energy storage system (BESS) integration Testing, commissioning and handover of the completed works The final scope and requirements will be confirmed in the formal tender documentation.
