Expression of Interest - Independent Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee Members The Shire of Exmouth is seeking expressions of interest from experienced persons to be appointed as independent committee members to the Shires Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC). The independent committee members will be appointed to the roles of Presiding Member and Deputy Presiding Member of the Shire of Exmouth ARIC. The Local Government Act Reform has introduced the ARICs which replace existing Audit Committees and are responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Council regarding financial management, risk management, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit planning and reporting. The sitting fees for the appointed independent Presiding Member and Deputy Presiding Member are as per the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal Band 3 determination
