Overview The City of Fremantle is seeking an experienced market operator to deliver a Christmas Market as part of A Very Freo Christmas 2026. The market will take place at Esplanade Reserve from 18 to 20 December 2026, alongside the City's Christmas Carols, Outdoor Christmas Movie Nights and Norfolk Pine lighting installation. The market will be a key feature of Fremantle's festive season program and is expected to attract residents and visitors to the city during the busy Christmas period. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of a Christmas Market at Esplanade Reserve featuring a minimum of 20 stallholders Curation of stallholders offering artisan products, local makers, handmade goods, sustainable products, unique gifts, food and beverage offerings, and family-friendly experiences Design and delivery of a market that reflects Fremantle's unique character and contributes to an engaging visitor experience Christmas theming, children's activities, entertainment and other festive activations will be viewed favourably but are not mandatory.
