About this tender

Overview The City of Fremantle is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the collection, transport, and lawful disposal of construction and maintenance waste materials generated from various City-managed construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. About The City of Fremantle is a local government authority located 20km south of the Perth CBD, comprising the suburbs of Beaconsfield, Fremantle, Hilton, North Fremantle, O'Connor, Samson, South Fremantle and White Gum Valley. The Town of Fremantle Council was founded in 1871 and gained city status in 1929. The City employs more than 400 people and services approximately 30,000 residents over a land area of 19 square kilometres. The City has a strong focus on responsible social, economic and environmental management, becoming WA's first carbon neutral city in 2009. The City also owns and runs the Fremantle Arts Centre and hosts festivals including Australia's oldest festival, the Fremantle Festival. Scope The scope includes: Collection of construction and maintenance waste materials generated from various City-managed construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects Transport of the collected waste materials Lawful disposal of the collected waste materials Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Tenderers are invited to attend a Site Inspection.
