About this tender
Overview The Shire of Beverley is inviting tender submissions for the leasing of various reserves for community cropping. The leases are for a three year term, from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030. Scope Leasing of various Shire of Beverley reserves for cropping purposes for a three year term Contract Terms and Conditions Lease term of three years, from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030 Leases will expire 28 February 2030 instead of 31 March 2030 The land is not surveyed, and the arable hectares stated are an approximation only Lease payments are invoiced annually in one instalment; the first invoice will be sent 1 March 2027 and must be paid prior to commencement of the lease Successful tenderers cannot enter or begin farming a Reserve or Lot prior to 1 April 2027 A successful tenderer is bound to accept the lease and the amount tendered Council may refuse, accept, or reject any tender, and the highest tender may not necessarily be accepted The Cropping Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any submission Contractor Requirements A Certificate of Currency for Public Liability insurance must be provided at the time of signing the lease agreement Instructions to Tenderers Submissions must be made on the prescribed form included within this tender package.
