About this tender
Overview The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) is seeking a Contractor to supply, install and advise on bike infrastructure projects under the Connecting Schools Grant program. About DTMI delivers the Your Move Schools program, a behaviour change initiative that works with schools, workplaces and communities to increase walking, bike riding, scooting, and public transport use, while reducing car trips. Through the Your Move Schools program, DTMI also administers the Connecting Schools Grant program, which provides eligible schools with funding for cycling infrastructure, road safety initiatives and end-of-trip facilities, encouraging active transport and helping to reduce traffic congestion and parking pressures around schools. The packages are jointly funded by DTMI with some support from the Department of Education (DoE). Purpose The original Connecting Schools Grant Infrastructure contract is concluding, and funding for the Connecting Schools grant program has been allocated for a further five years. DTMI is therefore seeking a Contractor to continue delivery of bike infrastructure projects for this period.
