About this tender

Overview The City of Stirling invites tenders from professional contractors for the control of weeds and pests within the City of Stirling. The required services involve the spraying of pesticides and herbicides across various active and passive reserves and grassed areas. About The City currently manages pests and weeds across some 450 parks and reserves, irrigated reserves, and conservation areas, via a program known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This program is a core function of the City's Infrastructure Directorate and encompasses all facets of pest management and the safe use of pesticides, including the storage, handling, and effective distribution of pesticides as a last resort. Scope The scope includes: Control of weeds and pests within the City of Stirling Spraying of pesticides and herbicides amongst various active and passive reserves and grassed areas Contract Terms and Conditions The City intends to award contracts to two (2) respondents and reserves the right to award contracts to more or fewer suppliers if deemed appropriate.
