About this tender

Overview The Department of Housing and Works (WA) is seeking tenders for the construction of a new landfill facility at Mimbi Aboriginal Community. Scope The scope of work for this Request for Tender (RFT) is construction of a new landfill facility which includes but is not limited to: Clearing vegetation and undertaking civil works to shape the new area Excavating a trench within the fenced area to allow waste storage Installing signage at the facility Creating an earth bund around the new facility for site drainage and water flow Removing a five (5) metre band of vegetation outside of the fence line Grading (clearing vegetation, adding fill, compacting, adding other material such as gravel) a new access track from the identified start point (existing road network) to the landfill location Constructing a concrete causeway over the creek that crosses the access road Tender Briefing A briefing session will be held for this opportunity. Date: 21 July 2026 Time: 3:00 PM Location: Microsoft Teams/Department of Housing and Works, 5 Newman Ct, Fremantle (Walyalup) Tenderers may participate in the briefing by an online teleconference link.
