Overview Jones Lang LaSalle (WA) Pty Ltd (JLL) is seeking a contractor to undertake the replacement of doors and windows and associated works at the Christmas Islands Old Tech College (CI Old Tech School). About The Christmas Islands Old Tech College (CI Old Tech School), located at Lister Place, is owned by the Commonwealth Government of Australia (The Commonwealth). The Western Australian Government, Department of Housing and Works (DHW), is responsible for managing the facility under an agreement on behalf of The Commonwealth. JLL has been engaged to provide comprehensive property management services on behalf of DHW. Purpose A recent condition assessment has identified that the building's doors and windows are deficient and no longer comply with cyclonic wind loading requirements, compromising the facility's ability to function safely as a designated cyclone shelter. Scope The scope includes: Site mobilisation and preliminaries, including access equipment, crane/forklift, flights, travel, car hire, meals, and freight/transportation costs from the supplier/manufacturer yard to the Fremantle port Removal and disposal of existing windows and doors, including associated hardware (approximately 20) Installation of new aluminium window frames, glazing, and associated hardware complying with AS 2047 and the NCC Installation of new aluminium door frames and associated hardware complying with AS 2047 and the NCC Repair of damaged louvres Site demobilisation, project-related material proposal, clean up, and hand-over process Enquiries Contact: Ali Bagher Email: Ali.B@jll.com
