About this tender

Overview WALGA is conducting an Early Tender Involvement process for Phase Three of its Energy Project. This engagement is a pre-tender market notification and is not an Energy Request for Proposal (RFP) or tender process. WALGA does not require submissions or offers through this engagement. Purpose WALGA intends to use the resulting response list as the basis for invitations to a subsequent Energy RFP process and may seek further information from registrants in the lead up to that process. Registrants chosen to proceed will be notified of the subsequent process and timeframes. WALGA's decision to extend invitations to participate in the future Energy RFP will be at its sole discretion, based on the strategic objectives of its Energy Project. Scope WALGA is interested in receiving registrations from companies with the capacity to provide: Retail energy supply contracts and/or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contract structures Existing assets or development of sustainable energy infrastructure dedicated to the Energy Project Evolving storage solutions and related innovation Eligibility If a registrant is invited to the Energy RFP, the expected minimum requirements will be as follows: Be an approved energy retailer (hold an energy licence) or partner with an eligible licence holder (Electricity) from the Economic Regulation Authority Ability to supply renewable energy to meet the current and future capacity required for the WALGA Sustainable Energy Supply Project Instructions to Tenderers Process Open Date: 11:00 AWST, Saturday 18 July 2026 Questions Close Date: 11:00 AWST, Monday 14 September 2026 Process Close Date: 11:00 AWST, Saturday 22 September 2026
