South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Aboriginal artists and/or suppliers for the provision of artwork to be installed within clinical rooms at the SMHS Older Adult Health Hub – Cockburn Integrated Health The artworks will complement existing room naming conventions and reflect alignment with the Noongar six seasons. These pieces are intended as supportive visual elements rather than primary feature artworks and should contribute to a culturally respectful and welcoming environment. Submissions should demonstrate designs that incorporate seasonal elements, colours, and themes consistent with the Noongar six seasons, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment with the clinical setting. Artwork requirements include: Size options: 30 cm x 30 cm 40 cm x 40 cm Designs that complement room names and enhance the overall aesthetic of the clinical environment Artists/suppliers must provide: A brief artist biography Cultural permissions or endorsements (where applicable) If electronic, required in TIF and EPS file SMHS encourages submissions from Noongar artists and businesses with demonstrated cultural knowledge and experience in delivering culturally appropriate artwork for health or community settings.
