Gravel Sheeting - Various Roads

Project Executive Summary The Shire of Derby / West Kimberley is seeking a qualified civil construction company to Reshape, Re-sheet design and cleanout or construct new drainage where required on the following roads: Fairfield-Leopold, Christmas Creek, Fossil Downs, Calwynyardah- Noonkanbah and Noonkanbah Millijiddee roads A full statement of the goods/services required under the proposed Contract appears in Part 3: Specification. Specification The contract works required include reshaping and placement of additional gravel resheeting material, together with drainage improvements to provide effective drainage on Camballin Road and Mount Anderson Road. The works on drainage improvements. For the resheeting works, the contract will utilise existing Shire gravel pits located along each road. Please refer to Appendices. The company awarded this tender will have access to Shire gravel pits located along these roads to obtain material for the works. Tenderers shall nominate the gravel pit or pits proposed to be used for each road, including the SLK of each pit and photos detailing the material proposed for use in the resheeting works. Tenderers shall also nominate their proposed sources of water and identified campsite locations for carrying out the works. The successful tenderer shall, upon award of the contract and before commencement of works, submit written permits from the relevant landowners for water sources and campsite locations, covering the duration of the project.
