About this tender

Overview The Public Transport Authority (WA) is seeking a contractor to design and construct a Water Corporation mains upgrade to supply increased pressure and flow to the Matilda Bay ferry terminal site, as part of the METRONET on Swan Ferry Service Expansion Project. About The METRONET on Swan Ferry Service Expansion Project is a Western Australian Government Election Commitment to expand Perth's ferry network along the Swan River by introducing new electric ferries, building initial terminals at Matilda Bay and Applecross, and creating a new route connecting these locations with Elizabeth Quay. The project aims to improve cross-river connectivity, support urban development and tourism, and provide a more sustainable public transport option, with additional routes and terminals being explored for the future. Purpose As part of the new ferry terminal design at Matilda Bay, the PTA is required to deliver firefighting services. Current pressure tests indicate that the hydrant located in proximity to the site has insufficient pressure. The Water Corporation has provided an indicative concept to connect two assets to ensure sufficient pressure and flow on site. Scope Design and construction of the Water Corporation mains upgrade to supply increased pressure and flow to the Matilda Bay ferry terminal site

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal
