Mini Murals: Expressions of interest now open!

Overview The Town of Victoria Park is calling for expressions of interest from artists to activate utility boxes throughout the town as part of its Mini Mural series. The selected artworks are intended to act as a deterrent to graffiti vandalism and help enliven areas of the town through public art. Scope The scope includes: Painting artwork directly onto a utility box Supplying a digital artwork design for vinyl installation onto a utility box Eligibility Artists of all backgrounds may apply Applicants may choose to paint their artwork onto a utility box or supply digital artwork for vinyl installation Contract Terms and Conditions Painted artwork: artist fee for painting the artwork onto a utility box is $1,200 For painted artwork, the artist must supply all materials needed to paint the artwork directly onto the utility box; the Town of Victoria Park will apply an anti-graffiti coating once painted Digital/vinyl artwork: artist fee for providing a hi-res image suitable for vinyl wrapping is $500 per artwork How to Apply Expressions of interest are open until 30 November.
